Roelant Klaassen
Born in 1962, Roelant Klaassen was sworn in as a lawyer in 1989 and is a member of the Rotterdam Bar and the Netherlands Bar Association. The harbour and maritime sectors were already familiar to Roeland Klaassen from a very early age, as his father was a ship’s master at Shell Tankers.
Hans ten Katen
Born in 1970, Hans ten Katen was sworn in as a lawyer in 1999 and is a member of the Rotterdam Bar and the Netherlands Bar Association. Hans ten Katen also has a solid maritime background, in view of the fact that he originally completed a higher vocational course in Nautical Education and his father worked as a surveyor for Lloyd’s. Hans ten Katen also takes part in competitive sailing in a J22 and is also Secretary of the Rijnmond Maritime Collection Foundation, the primary focus of which is the restoration of the sea-going tug ‘ELBE’ (for further information, please visit www.zeesleperelbe.nl.
Bob SInke
Born in 1971, Bob Sinke was sworn in as a lawyer in 2001 and is a member of the Rotterdam Bar and the Netherlands Bar Association. Bob hails from a naval family and is also Treasurer of the Sea Cadets’ Foundation of Rotterdam.
Annelies Volker
Born in 1984, Annelies Volker was sworn in as a lawyer in 2008 and is a member of the Rotterdam Bar and the Netherlands Bar Association. Annelies’ family is active in the inland waterways sector.
